Yup...that is what makes this stuff felt so well....
When you heat these fibers up, those scales flip open and just grab each other like crazy.
LOVE IT.... I really do.

This is a fantastic picture. I was just trying to describe this very thing to my daughter's second grade class. Wish I had a print of this image, but it is in my brain now.
